August desktop!

The August desktop has arrived and I LOVE how cute mine turned out!!! It's actually a little sad how much I look forward to this every month now that I think about it.

Ah well...here it is!

Also, I've had some questions as to how I do my desktops. Sadly, they're not totally mine...only the pics are. I download the desktop for FREE here, you may have to scroll down a bit before you find it, but they're posted once a month about a week before the current month ends. I use Corel Paint Shop Pro (which you don't have to use, any photo shop type program will work) to insert my pictures and then I simply save it in my pics and set it as my background. There are a few other blogs that I've come across that do free monthly desktops but the site I use is my absolute FAVORITE.

The big boy seat

We have upgraded to a bigger car seat and Tobi LOVES it. He sits a little higher which allows him to see out the window better. He's so cute, now when we go for rides in the car he just stares out the window and watches everything go by. He likes to wave his toys at other drivers and grins at everyone. We were able to get him a 3-in-1 seat that will work as a toddler seat and booster. We're very excited and it's so fun to see Tobi enjoy it as much as he does.

Our nasty ear infection

Tobi has had an ear infection in one ear for about a week and a half now and we are ALL suffering. The poor little guy has lost a little weight because he's not eating as well (it hurts his ear when he swallows) and his sleeping schedule, which was already fragile to begin with, has been completely ruined. He now screams, sometimes for almost an hour, when we lay him down and it's so hard for us to get him to sleep. We've had to see the doctor a second time and get some stronger medicine and we're hoping that this will do the trick. He's so miserable and I really want him to start sleeping better and eating better again. He's been super cuddly though and it's nice to snuggle him, however...I'd be happier if he felt better, even if that means less snuggles.

Mr. Independent

My little man has learned that he can push me away and it makes me so sad!
Now, anytime I try to clean his nose or his face, or feed him, or get him dressed he pushes my hands away so that I can't.
It's so frustrating!
He used to just kind of flail around but now I have to have Jordan help me. Tobi is very quick and very accurate for being a baby.
Crazy.

Dream a little dream

Someday I hope to.....

ride in a hot air balloon.
own at least two horses.
swim with the dolphins.
go to Italy.
drive an insanely expensive sports car at OVER 100mph.
visit Australia.
ride in a helicopter.
publish a book.
have long hair.
learn ballroom dance WITH Jordan.
go to each and every State in the US at least once (except Alaska, I'm good without that one)
go to Disneyworld.
pet a monkey.
ride on an elephant.
be tan.
see what I would look like as a blonde.
own a cabin for weekend getaways.
learn how to ski or snowboard.
be more than a good wife and mom.
