Coasters
Can you hear the screamer? Yeah...that was me.
I have to admit, I had my eyes closed the whole time on this one.
I didn't actually go on this one, it was HUGE. My family said that they almost blacked out on this one because the G Force (whatever that is) was so high.
For Your Enjoyment
I know this is very late but, as many of you know, we had the opportunity to go on a family trip a couple weeks ago and spent two days at Six Flags in California. It was so great! My family hasn't been on a trip together in years and years. My dad borrowed my uncle's massive van (really, it was huge) and we drove the eleven hour drive to get there. As luck would have it, the weather turned a little wet the only two days we were there. The first day wasn't so bad, it was cloudy but not rainy and it kept the sun out of our faces. It rained all night and then brightened up the next day. We had a small downpour around noon that lasted maybe fifteen minutes, and then it was nice and sunny, but windy, the rest of the day. I didn't go on very many coasters, I found out I was pregnant the night before we left. I had several people tell me that it should be fine to ride the coasters, since I was just barely pregnant, but I was still nervous and I didn't want to overdo it. We went on Tatsu the first day we were there and we waited in line for two and a half hours! It was crazy. But the ride was insanely fun! It was my favorite coaster. We went on Batman, Riddler's Revenge, Superman, Viper, X2, Revolution, Goliath (no explanation needed on this one) and several others. Here are some pics and some video for you...

Happy Day!
So...Jordan and I have been trying to get pregnant and we haven't really had any complications, we just can't count. We bought an ovulation kit last month and I was frustrated because I used it the full week, did everything like I was supposed to, and not one of them turned out positive. We were frustrated and disappointed but decided we'd try the ovulation kit one more time before going to a doctor for some help. I went to work last Thursday and was feeling sick and light headed, and I knew I still had a pregnancy test at home. I had taken one a week earlier and it was negative, but I couldn't help but continue to wonder. I took the test and just about had a heart attack when the plus sign showed up two minutes later. It seriously felt like my heart stopped. Was this for real? Did we really do it? I call Jordan at work, he's only got about thirty minutes left in his shift but this is a total emergency right, and I tell him we need another pregnancy test. This time, a different brand. He asks me why and I tell him I just took one and it's positive. He said, "Seriously? You're not joking with me?". Would I joke about this? Lol. So he tells me he'll pick one up and I seriously can't wait. I'm pacing our apartment with my first positive test, I can't let it out of my sight, and I'm so excited I feel like I'm going to pass out. He brings home the second test and it comes out positive too.
YipEE! WooHoo! YaY!
So this morning I called the doctor and I have an appointment for April 20th to have everything checked and a couple tests run. I'm so excited. Jordan is so excited. Our families are so excited. We were told our due date would be around November 22nd but that will be updated when I go to my appointment. We have a lot of planning to do and a cat to get rid of.
Does anybody want a cat?

Joke of the Week
So I think I'm going to start posting a new weekly joke to keep things fun (maybe it will help me post more often, he he) and for this week I have this super awesome story about...drumroll please......ATTITUDE! Long story short, I had a humassive breakdown in high school and since then I've promised myself to always try and keep a good attitude about life and everything in it. Some days it's easy and some days it's incredibly hard, but I really strive to set that example for my family and friends. I'm sad to say that I don't know who wrote this, so if anyone knows and feels kind enough to pass on that information to me, that would be AwEsOmE!!

"I did not provoke the fight so I feel no remorse for what I was forced to do. We were arguing, and seeing that I was right and he was wrong, he decided to fight to cover his stupidity. He swung at me first, but being in top condition, I was able to act quickly and block his punch neatly with my head. Whereupon I jumped to the ground, knocking him down on top of me. Then I placed my ear in his mouth and poked his finger several times with my eye. His teeth hurt so badly from the strength of my ear that he became irate and tried to kick me, but I cleverly blocked the onslaught with my ribs and face. I scrambled to my feet and ran to my car in hopes that I would get away and save this man from my deadly hands. Before I could start the car he pulled me from the still-open door. That was the last straw--I lost all control. There would be no mercy! Taking him in my death grip, I pounded him in the knee with my stomach, then hit him two or three times hard in the fist with my teeth. He had it! I could tell. After that, he didn't even try to pick me up off the ground. He was too chicken."

I'm back!!
We're in our new apartment and we love it! I can't even begin to express how wonderful it is to be on our own again. No family living with us anymore....we love them, we just don't want to live with them. The apartment is great and the neighbors are really nice. I got a couple of things hung on my wall yesterday (thanks Mom and Dad!) and I can't wait to hang up the rest of it. I plan on ordering a few things from www.scribbleitonline.com and I can't wait. I'm determined to make our apartment the cutest ever. Jordan's mom paid us back for the couches she ruined (we were pretty shocked too) and we were able to get a new set that was much needed and I LOVE them. They're so so comfortable.
Jessa is doing so good and I'm so proud of her. Skye is still the devil and still hasn't been fixed because I want kittens. The darn beast totally went into heat right when we moved and I didn't want her outside for fear of her running away. She wandered the house for days just crying and howling. I hate it when cats do that. I was so disappointed because I want her to have kittens. That cat owes me so much rent....two litters now at least, lol.
We've had Robert over a couple of times and we had the great pleasure of entertaining Brynn, Noah and Ellie today. Brynn helped me make cupcakes for the first time (thank you Brynn!) and I burned the bottom of every single one. I'm so mad. I'm going to have to just bake cookies now for my neighbors. We played with toys, colored, watched a couple movies and played a racing game on the PS3. We had my homemade macaroni and cheese with hotdogs for lunch and I had to laugh because Noah was ADAMANT that he was NOT hungry. He just wanted to play PS3. Finally, Jordan asked him if he wanted some "racecar macaroni and cheese" and boy he was all over that. I was so amazed, who knew my husband was so great with kids? Ellie was wearing her new squeaky shoes and they were so adorable! She had a blast with Jordan (who she still calls Jayson, it's hilarious) and she gave him the cutest award winning pout when he told her he had to go work on his homework. She won more play time with that one. I am so grateful for Sean and Brynn and their wonderful kids, they've already made our lives so much better just by being them. Brynn brought me the cutest bag sock for all of my plastic grocery bags, I love it!
My parents were here yesterday and I was able to make chicken chili for them for dinner (thank you Kelly for the fantastic recipe!) and they both loved it. I always get nervous when I cook for my parents, I'm not sure why. My dad filled in two holes we had in the bathroom that was allowing ants to come through. UGH! I HATE ants. I'm so glad he did that for us. He also drove me all the way to Roy on Sunday so that we could get a portable dishwasher (thank you so much Dad!). Both my mom and my dad helped me hang up a couple pieces of art on my wall and it made my living room look so much better. I started painting my picture frames today and I just need to pick up some sand paper to finish them. It's nice to finally relax and enjoy the apartment, it's coming together really nicely.
