Jocelyn's Wedding

My good friend Jocelyn got married on Sep 1st and it was BEAUTIFUL! I got to have the great honor of being a bridesmaid in her line and it was so much fun. I was put in charge of her dress which made me very proud and very nervous at the same time. Don't worry though, nothing awful happened and I had her dress at Thanksgiving point ON TIME (pretty unbelievable for me I know). Her wedding and reception were absolutely gorgeous and Jocelyn was radiant. She was so happy and so beautiful in her dress. It was definitely HER day. And Steve! What a stud! Jordan and I both are so happy for them and so grateful to be part of their new life together.

The Captain

Jordan finally got his new car last week! Woohoo! We sold his Jetta (Jayson has transportation now!) and then let him shop for his new car. We test drove a few different ones and he decided he for sure wanted a Saturn VUE. And lucky us! We found the perfect one! It's so pretty and the inside is super nice. It drives like a total dream and I have to admit I'm just a tad bit jealous. I still love my Yaris, but it's SO nice to drive something with so much room! I'm so happy for Jordan to finally have something that is TOTALLY his and that he's so excited with. It's about time he got to pick a car for him. :)

Bronwyn's Bridal Shower

My brother is getting married in a couple of weeks so this last weekend I hosted a bridal shower for his fiance, Bronwyn. We decided to do an openhouse, which I've never done before, but it turned out really good. She got a lot of cool giftcards and had a very good turnout. We had some yummy snacks and played a fun candy jar guessing game. We got to meet several members of Bronwyn's family which was really fun and I'm glad they were able to make it. A lot of them had quite the drive to get there. Aunt Carol came, she's such a sweetheart and it's always so great to see her. We had a lot fun and I'm glad that Bronwyn let me do her shower for her.

The dreaded bubble gum game!

My good friend Jocelyn is getting married this week and I had the great honor of throwing her bridal shower last weekend. It was my first one and I feel like it turned out very good. Jocelyn and I worked on the invite together and it turned out SUPER cute. We played some really fun games and had some really yummy food. She had a really good turnout and totally made out like a bandit. We did a gift card shower for her since they already have a lot of their living supplies, and it worked great! After her shower we all went to Walmart together to scope out a really cool table that she and Steve had their eye on. It was a lot of fun and I'm really glad that I had the opportunity to do that for her.
