We decided to stop at my Grandma's house today for a surprise visit. Eli was there and decided to take Tobi under his wing and show him the in's and out's of Grandma's house. So cute! They were both crawling down the hallway together as Eli said, "Come on Tobi, follow me!" Later when Grandma picked up Cooper from the bus stop, the boys sat together at the little counter and had lunch. Both Cooper and Eli INSISTED that they sit by Tobi because he is just so cool (again...so cute!) and the three of them sat and devoured their lunch, such good little boys! Tobi got to play with Grandma's cool stash of toys and kept giving Annie loves (she took it really well, poor doggie). When it was time to go, Tobi made the rounds and gave everyone knuckles, fives, loves and kisses. He was giggling the whole time, I think he was really loving all the attention and he LOVED spending time with Cooper and Eli. Hopefully next time, we can go play at their house!

Cookie Cutters
I absolutely LOVE this place! I took Tobi there this morning for his second haircut and he did SO good. As soon as we walked in he got so excited, he kept pointing at the balloons and saying, "what's that?". He played on the slide while we waited and then we picked out a Mickey Mouse movie for him to watch while he got his hair cut. He got to sit in a very cool plane this time which he was VERY excited about. He kept bouncing and grinning while he spun the wheel. We had the same guy who cut his hair last time, and he is AMAZING. He's so patient and you can tell he's way comfortable around kids. When he was done, Tobi got to pick out a balloon which came with a cute little turkey shaped cookie cutter, and a sucker. We didn't buy any shampoo this time because I still have a ton at home from my previous bottle (blueberry, yum!) and then I scheduled his next appointment for six weeks from now. They give you a discount if you schedule your next appointment while you're there. I have to say that I am definitely one of those mom's who doesn't mind paying a few dollars more at Cookie Cutters. Tobi loves it and the employees are so kind and so patient. It's so nice to relax and know my kid is in good hands. I will definitely be taking him to Cookie Cutters from now until he's old enough to go to a normal salon....which will be a very sad day indeed!
Yesterday
Yesterday was a really fun day for me. I got to have Noah and Ellie for most of the day while Sean and Brynn got things squared away with baby Ben. We played lots of games, drew on the sidewalk outside, colored in coloring books, and even made a snuggie wrap and a crinkle toy for Ben! It was a lot of fun and Ellie is such a hoot, she had me cracking up several times throughout the day. Here are some pictures we took of our activities!

Ben has arrived!
My beautiful sister-in-law Brynn had her baby today, much to everyone's relief! He was born at 5:46PM, weighed in at 7lbs 4oz. and is 20 inches long....PERFECT! She has had such a rough pregnancy and we have all been so excited to meet this little cutie who has been causing so much grief. I have to say, Sean and Brynn have outdone themselves because he is one dang good looking baby! He is a perfect addition to their cute little family and we are so happy for them. I can't wait to watch this little man grow and I hope he ADORES his Auntie Steph!Congrats Sean and Brynn, we love him tons already!

Easter Weekend
In the meantime, I worked on our roast for dinner and my mom helped me whip up my Chocolate Delight for dessert, which turned out to be a huge hit. Dinner was fabulous and we got to visit with Andrew and Bronwyn which is always so nice. Unfortunately, Chace was out of town on a four-wheeling trip (spoiled little brat!) so he wasn't there. My parents spoiled Tobi as usual and gave him a LOT of cool Easter stuff. He got his own little car to play with at Grammie and Papa's house, along with coloring books, crayons, Easter books, and a boat for the bathtub. Then they gave him a very cool Leap Frog reader along with three books to read with it. VERY cool!! Tobi got tired and we had to scratch our plans for egg painting, which is okay because there will be many more years for egg painting.
Sunday morning we woke up and SURPRISE! the Easter bunny came! Tobi was so surprised to see all his loot spread out over his chair. He didn't waste any time checking it out and boy was he excited. That sneaky bunny even hid plastic goody eggs in with all the loot. After a very yummy Easter Sunday breakfast, we broke into some of the sweet sugary goodies that the bunny left and Tobi was WIRED for hours after.
Hope your Easter weekend was just as fabulous!

Easter pictures
I just want to start out by saying I do not call myself a photographer, and I do not pretend to know what I'm doing. I love my camera and I am learning how to use it....I dabble.

Shannon has a really cute light blue wall in her kitchen and the light comes in pretty good, so we thought it would be a great spot to do Easter pictures of our ADORABLE little boys. I had some Easter props (previously pictured in another post) that we put in for the boys to play with, otherwise they wander EVERYWHERE. We started with Tobi and unfortunately, he was VERY cranky and we couldn't really get him to smile. Right now, I think I'm just grateful he's not crying in his pictures (most of them anyway). I am happy with the pictures I did get and maybe later when he's feeling silly I'll get some more.
Kayson was a total ham and had us cracking up. He's the silliest little baby. We had a lot of fun trying to be creative and I probably looked hilarious scooting, sliding and rolling all over the floor trying to get as many different angles as I could before the boys got bored and left.

I am loving the holidays this year and Easter is no different. I've got some cute decorations up, some way cute pictures of my favorite little boy, and this weekend....the real festivities begin!
